It’s fabulous to have interesting and challenging work, but frankly, I’m delighted to have a job right now, and I can always
MAKE my job as interesting as I want it to be. Sometimes the challenge has to be how to make it interesting and/or fulfilling!

in addition to interesting work, i am finding that employer appreciation and loyalty are two aspects missing from your abbreviated list that should be included: when an employee feels betrayed or unappreciated, not only does morale suffer, but so does productivity.

Interesting Work should be #1 —
Work challenges our brain, gives our lives meaning, and helps us grow personally. However, with the economy in a stall, companies have cut back on compensation and benefits. Individuals who loved their work and put it above all else are now having to re-think which comes first – that love-of-the job, or paying home/life expenses.

I love my job and very glad and blessed to have one this days. We have a pretty respectable work place. Though some days are tough but I am sure every job and work place is the same. We all have our days.
