In fact, 66% of customers switch companies due to poor service, according to a survey by Accenture. Moreover, 82% of those surveyed said their current service provider could have done something to prevent them from switching to a competitor. Customer service can’t be a reactive response; it has to be a proactive approach to maintain a competitive advantage.
