Question of the Month: How Do You Pass the Time on Your Commute to Work?

According to statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, the average American has a 26 minute commute to work each day. And according to the National Household Survey, Canadians aren’t getting to the office much quicker with an average 25.4 minute commute. That’s nearly an hour lost each day in transit to our jobs. So, for our September question of the month we want to know what you do to pass the time during your daily commute. Let us know by participating in our poll.

It is the perfect time to pray for all your loved ones and the world needs special prayer right now with everything from daily living to the hurricanes and all the senseless violence. If you still have time try listening to K Love it is a great Christian Rock Radio. You can go to work with a smile in your heart and on your face.

I agree! I pray on my way to work to bless my family, my work week and all other things that I want to pray for, then ill turn up my XM Radio and listen to my ‘ happy music’ and get ready for my day at the office! 🙂

I do several things on my way to work, first I pray to thank God for the night before that no phone calls from family and or friends, everything is ok. I ask him to give me a clean heart so that I can be representative of him throughout the day. I listen to the radio so that I can laugh at the Russ Parr folks, my husband may call to talk for the morning (Bluetooth, hands are on the wheel). Sometimes I just thank about my life and what I have planned for myself for the next several hours or just to thank about my life period.

I start off with a prayer, then I crank up the volume!
