I gift each of my staff a 60 minute massage. I barter that massage with a client of mine, so its win-win.

The management will cater in a holiday dinner for the employees. Some segments of our project will be treated to additional dinner out and/or time off from work (generally half a day off with pay). Some (not all) also receive Christmas bonuses. My segment received a bonus of a sort; a reimbursement of 1.5 months of health care premiums.

Our company caters our monthly meetings. But for the holidays, each area leader takes their staff out to lunch at a local restaurant. The company also gives out cash cards to Fred Meyers.

We will treat our staff to a Christmas luncheon with a draw for prizes in which each staff member will go home with a prize. In addition, they will all receive 1/2 day off with pay and our hardest working staff will also receive a cash bonus.

I give my employees all year round for the Work they perform. Social Services can be exhausting emotionally as well as physically, therefore I provide full Medical, Complete Communications no charge to the employee, all Holidays paid, Luncheons for B-Days.

This Year I gave Cash Bonus equally to all, to offset the Economic Hardships Family’s are experiencing.

Leave it to the ladies to “get it”! Such generosity and knowledge of what your employees do for you is uncommon. I applaud you. I am sure your employees are just as loyal to you as you are to them. What a difference little things make to the attitude and happiness of employees.

We celebrate the holidays (our most frantic and busy time of the year) by having a catered lunch or head out to dinner at a well-known restaurant. Each employee gets a ‘fun’ gift with little surprises inside and including a Gift Card to use after Christmas. We always do this after the Christmas Day (paid)as we keep working til the last minute…so after end-of-year inventory is completed. We also play ‘Secret Santa’ and the gift must be a ‘re-gift’. This is hilarious because we have a fun-loving group of usually about 12-15 folks, and the rest of the day after the get-together is an ‘additional’ partial paid day-off….well-deserved!
