The videos would be better if I had a sound card, but the newsletter is informative.

I had fun taking the quiz. According to the quiz, I’m an Ostrich. That’s about 90% correct. How can I become a Tiger?

    3. Craig Burden April 8, 2010 at 11:05 am #

Hey, I’ve currently got a 50/50 chance of winning! Gotta like those odds.

      I’m also a Fox.

It was a nice quiz and I’m a chameleon. Posted the quiz on FaceBook. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/profile.php?id=1655551144

    5. Jacob Davis April 8, 2010 at 11:52 am #

My quiz said I’m a chameleon but I think I’m more of a blend of that, along with the tiger and fox.

I guess Fox it is for me. I do enjoy reading this newsletter.

    7. GBV April 8, 2010 at 12:00 pm #

Tony the Tiger here. Years of corporate involvement helped with the quiz.

    8. Paul Fitzpatrick April 8, 2010 at 12:04 pm #

I’m a Chameleon. I don’t agree…the offered responses didn’t apply. In many cases there wasn’t one close to how I would respond.

      Posted to Facebook.

    9. Debbie April 8, 2010 at 12:46 pm #

I am an ostrich. But I knew that before I took the test. Great quiz though. Not sure if I want to change or not, not sure I COULD change.

      • Refresh Leadership April 8, 2010 at 12:58 pm #

Hey, Debbie! Thanks for taking the quiz. The perspective of Leadership Instinct isn’t that you need to change your style, but that by being aware of your style, along with the pros and cons, you can tame your instinct to be a great leader – instead of a worst boss.

So, embrace your instinct, and discover how to be the best you can as an Ostrich!

    10. Jill Steiner April 8, 2010 at 2:23 pm #

After watching the videos knew I would be a Fox but not sure I fully have all the cons. Guess I will learn more soon.

Hilarious videos! I’ve worked with every one of these types. I’m a fox, by the way. What a great way to identify the instinct type and help manage your, and that individual’s, style of communication and management.

      a chameleon. not really…

    22. Tina Lipscomb April 9, 2010 at 11:34 am #

      I am a Chameleon
You know that outgoing and charming person who has more fun than anyone else? That’s you! With your warm and friendly personality, you tend to be everyone’s best friend. People are drawn to your charm, your enthusiasm and your sometimes inappropriate stories.

      Ok, somewhat

    23. Karen Lee April 9, 2010 at 12:59 pm #

I’m a Chameleon. I love my job and am generally very happy! I do tend to take on to much…but never under deliver, I just work harder to complete it all!

    24. Susan Brande April 9, 2010 at 1:27 pm #

I’m a Fox – my facebook family will totally agree.

I am an ostrich, not sure if that is good or not.

I blogged about it here! http://theartofrandomwillynillyness.blogspot.com/2010/04/woo-giveaways-to-enter.html

    29. Donna C. April 10, 2010 at 6:39 pm #

I am a Tiger. I don’t feel like a Tiger, but I am sure there are those that would agree with the results.

      I posted on twitter http://twitter.com/ivansmom60/statuses/11963875730

    30. Zach S April 11, 2010 at 11:37 am #

I’m a fox too, it seems pretty accurate but from the looks of these other comments, there are a lot of us foxes out there. I tweeted it here: http://bit.ly/byW7yX

    31. Steve Ralston April 11, 2010 at 1:50 pm #

WOW did’t think I would be the Tiger, BUT I do see that sometimes when the situation calls for it. It was alot of fun I posted it on my facebook
      http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/profile.php?ref=profile&id=1067653898

    32. Steve Ralston April 11, 2010 at 1:51 pm #

Haha. I never really thought of myself as a Tiger, so I am interested to see how the simulcast is going to work.

Ok, got it all done. I indeed am a fox, with a lot to learn on how I can get better! http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/profile.php?id=1489571107

I am a fox – looks like I have alot of company!

    36. Steve Singleton April 12, 2010 at 7:51 am #

I thought maybe I was an ostrich, but I’m a fox. This kind of self-evaluation is very helpful, especially for us job hunters. “To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man” –Shakespeare in Hamlet.

    37. Emily Carpenter April 12, 2010 at 8:00 am #

I am a fox and I shared it on Facebook.

I am a Lion. Really didn’t see that coming.

    39. Dariel Diancin April 12, 2010 at 8:12 am #

Interesting quiz. Nailed it right on the head!

    40. Laura Sparks April 12, 2010 at 8:42 am #

I personally love Chameleons, but was relieved not to “be one”.
Depending upon my mood though I can turn from an Ostrich into a Tiger.
      So watch out!
At any given moment it might be fur or feathers flying!

I posted the quiz link up on my Facebook page, it’ll be interesting to see what my family is.

      I am a fox also

    42. Jenny Hymer April 12, 2010 at 10:37 am #

I am a fox?! I think at times we are all a little of each but it’s good to use the ‘Pros’ of each and be aware of the “cons’!

    43. Rebecca Turner April 12, 2010 at 10:40 am #

      I’m a fox. Pretty right on. http://www.facebook.com/?sk=nf

    44. Debbie Jo Dickson April 12, 2010 at 12:16 pm #

Yup… I’m a fox. Spreadsheets and lists keep me straight. I memorize everything, but if it’s not on a list my priorities get out of order. If my memory was more like a Rolodex/Calendar, I would never need a PDA. Even at home, if my husband and I don’t mesh our lists together (usually via text message with a copy and paste into a listing program) and prioritize, our day is a waste trying to do everything together with our two boys in tow.

I’m an ostrich? No way! I demand a retest!

I think I am guilty of each style, depending on who, what, when, where & how. I do like people to get along, but not at all cost.

    47. Anne Perala April 12, 2010 at 3:16 pm #

      Sooooo… I’m better on weekends!

    48. Janelle Brant April 13, 2010 at 8:22 am #

      I’m a tiger, no surprise there. http://www.facebook.com/?sk=nf
